TERMS & CONDITIONS
1. This rental contract includes 24/7 Roadside assistance, Theft Protection (TP), Third Party Liability (TPL), Personal Accident Insurance. Value Added Tax (VAT) and Collision Damage. (with a deductable excess)
2. The Renter checks the vehicle thoroughly before it is received and acknowledges that it is in good, clean and usable condition.
3. The Renter also understands and acknowledges that the vehicle is to be returned to GrandRich Rent A Car L.L.C office or representative in the same condition (including all accessories, baby seat, Wi-Fi devices etc.) at the end of the rental period. Missing or damaged items shall be charged.
4. Renter shall pay a security deposit of AED 2,000 to AED 5.000 depending on the vehicle category, at the time of signing this agreement. This deposit shall be released after 21 to 27 working days from the date of return of the vehicles; further to deductions, if applicable.
5. In case of any accident / damage, and the Renter is guilty as per the Police Report; the renter shall pay an excess of AED2000, if Super Collision Damage Waiver (SCDW) is not purchased. Police Report is mandatory even if the Renter is not guilty
6. The Renter can choose the Deposit-Free option at the beginning of the rental for an additional cost which shall be paid via card only. For any charges incurred during the rental that are not settled at the time of return, the Renter allows GrandRich Rent A Car L.L.C to withdraw the due amount through the provided credit or debit card.
7. Young Drivers (21 to 23 years old) are allowed to rent only Small and Economy vehicles. A young driver fee of AED 50 per day applies, with a maximum of AED 1,000 for monthly rentals. A security deposit of AED 2,500 is required. Young drivers are not eligible to purchase Super Collision Damage Waiver (SCDW). In case of a damage / accident the Renter shall pay an insurance excess of AED 2,500 in addition to 25% of the repair cost. Police Report is mandatory.
8. GrandRich Rent A Car L.L.C reserves the right to recall a vehicle and cancel the contract at any time and the Renter shall cooperate.
9. GrandRich Rent A Car L.L.C shall not be responsible or accountable for any personal belongings left in the vehicle.
10. GrandRich Rent A Car L.L.C vehicles may only be driven within the geographical boundaries of the United Arab Emirates.
11. Vehicle must be returned with the same fuel level as when it was hired. Fuel and admin charges may apply if the fuel is lower.
12. Renter shall ensure that the vehicle including its mechanisms, parts etc. are not damaged or tampered with during the rental period. Missing or damaged items shall be charged.
13. AED 600 charges would apply if the car returned dirty, stains, animal fur, garbage or smoking. For vehicles returned with excessively dirty exteriors (as determined by GrandRich Rent A Car L.L.C standards), a separate cleaning fee of 150 AED may apply.
14. Daily rental charges are calculated on 24-hour basis from time of pick-up as mentioned on this agreement, with a grace period of two (2) hours. Additional one (1) day rental charges apply to vehicles returned after the grace period.
15. Monthly rentals are calculated on a thirty (30) days rental period. Advance payment is mandatory. Early vehicle return will automatically cancel the monthly rate plan and daily rate plan shall apply.
16. Renter shall pay all fines incurred during the rental period within 24 hours of issue of fines. Admin fee of AED 70 apply.
17. GrandRich Rent A Car L.L.C rental invoices may be provided upon request by the Renter.
18. AED 6 per crossing will be charged for tolls (SALIK & DARB).
19. Value Added Tax (VAT) of 5% will be applicable on GrandRich Rent A Car L.L.C rental charges.
20. The vehicle requires servicing every 10,000 kilometers (km) or every 6 months, whichever comes first. The renter is also responsible to notify GrandRich Rent A Car L.L.C immediately if a service reminder appears on the dashboard. This information can be found on a sticker on the windshield, the inner driver's door, or on the dashboard display itself.
21. Renter will be responsible if vehicles are not serviced at the allocated times and have experienced damage. The Renter agrees to pay the repairing cost and the daily rental charges to cover the potential revenue loss while the vehicle is out of service being fixed.
22. In case of vehicle breakdown, GrandRich Rent A Car L.L.C shall provide a replacement vehicle as soon as possible.
23. For any minor or major accident or damage, police report is mandatory even if the Renter has purchased full insurance (Super Collision Damage Waiver - SCDW). To obtain Police report dial 901. In case the Renter fails to submit the Police report, the Renter agrees to pay the repairing cost and the daily rental charges to cover the potential revenue loss while the vehicle is out of service being fixed.
24. If Renter is less than 24 years old or the driving license issue date is less than 1 year and is guilty in an accident according to the police report, the Renter shall pay an insurance excess of AED 2500 addition to 25% of repair cost of the vehicle.
25. In case of a minor accident like scratch (greater than 2cm long), dent (greater than the size of 25 cm). paint damage, broken accessories etc., police report is mandatory. If the Renter has purchased full insurance (Super Collision Damage Waiver - SCDW) and submitted the Police Report the Renter shall not pay for the damages caused.
26. If the Renter has not purchased a (Super Collision Damage Waiver - SCDW) and the vehicle involved in a big accident and it’s in total loss condition, the Renter is liable to pay an additional charge of AED 2,500 and 25% of the vehicle value as per the value registered in the insurance company of GrandRich Rent A Car L.L.C.
27. Windshield, tires, wheels, wheel cap and tools damages are not included in the (Super Collision Damage Waiver - SCDW) insurance. The Renter shall pay the full repair cost of these in case of any damages.
28. The Renter will be liable for full cost of repairing the vehicle that was damaged due to being operated with a flat tire or any breakdown related issues must be reported immediately by calling the number mentioned on this agreement.
29. Off road driving and rash driving is not allowed for GrandRich Rent A Car L.L.C vehicles. Failure to abide shall void the insurance coverages and the Renter shall be fully liable to pay for any damages, repairing cost and the daily rental charges to cover the potential revenue loss while the vehicle is out of service being fixed.
30. Renter shall not allow any Third Party to repair the rented vehicle without written consent from GrandRich Rent A Car L.L.C.
31. The Renter is responsible to replace the punctured tire with the spare tire. The damaged tire will be inspected by GrandRich Rent A Car L.L.C inspection specialist. The Renter shall pay for the damaged tire in case of misuse.
32. The Renter will be responsible for loss of any keys. The charge for a lost key will be AED 1000 to AED 3000, depending on the vehicle category.
33. The Renter understands and ensures that only drivers that have entered their name on this contract are allowed to drive the vehicle. In case of an accident and the driver of the car was not mentioned in this contract during the accident, the Renter will be accountable to pay AED 2,500 plus the full repair cost and the daily rental charges to cover the potential revenue loss while the vehicle is out of service being fixed, police report mandatory. If no police report is submitted, the Renter is accountable to pay AED 5,000 plus the full repair cost and the daily rental charges to cover the potential revenue loss while the vehicle is out of service being fixed. In case of total loss, The Renter shall pay full vehicle value as per the insurance company.
34. Any accident or damage to the vehicle rented that occurs due to the driver being under the influence of alcohol or any narcotic drug, the Renter will be accountable to pay AED 2,500 plus full repair cost and the daily rental charges to cover the potential revenue loss while the vehicle is out of service being fixed. In case of total loss, The Renter shall pay full vehicle value as per the insurance company. Police Report is mandatory.
35. Any vehicle rented from GrandRich Rent A Car L.L.C is only insured for driving on paved roads within the UAE.
36. In case the vehicle gets impounded by authorities because of any violation during the rental period, The Renter will be liable to pay GrandRich Rent A Car L.L.C the impounding charges plus the daily rental charges to cover the potential revenue loss while the vehicle is under the legal custody.
37. The Renter authorizes GrandRich Rent A Car L.L.C l and its representative to seize the vehicle, due to non-payment of rent, fines and tolls, or not returned on time, or left abandoned, or locked in secured parking etc.
38. Our working hours are 08:00am to 11:00pm. The Renter shall be charged an out-of-hours fee of AED 300 per delivery or collection, if the pickup or drop off time of the rental is outside the rental counter's normal working hours.
39. One-way Fee of AED 50 shall be applicable in case of drop-off location is different from that of the pick-up location.
40. If the Renter modifies the booking in less than 24 hours from pick up time Modification charges of AED 150 applies.
41. To extend the rental period, the Renter must notify GrandRich Rent A Car L.L.C at least 48 hours before the return date. In case of vehicle not being returned or extended on the expected return date, Agreement will be auto extended till the vehicle is returned to the rental office.
42. The Renter agrees to respond promptly to GrandRich Rent A Car L.L.C during the rental period. Failure to respond may result in offline charges and/or restricted vehicle use. If the Renter does not want GrandRich Rent A Car L.L.C to use the provided credit/debit card, then inform GrandRich Rent A Car L.L.C, two (2) days before the due date or an alternate card needs to be provided to complete the payment.
43. In the event of a traffic violation or violations issued by a government agency and the renter wishes to dispute the violation, the renter must pay the full amount of the violation to GrandRich Rent A Car L.L.C within 24 hours of the date of issuance of the violation. GrandRich Rent A Car L.L.C undertakes to refund the amount of the violation to the renter if the violation is cancelled or reduced by the government agency that issued the violation.
44. The Renter is aware and acknowledges that all charges incurred during this rental must be paid at the time of vehicle return. For any unsettled payments, GrandRich Rent A Car L.L.C will charge the provided credit or debit card. GrandRich Rent A Car L.L.C will send an online notification to the Renter.
45. Airport parking fee (When booking at the airport, the airport parking fee 50 AED per delivery is mandatory and is not included in the offer, to be paid separately on arrival.) The renter will be responsible for any fines, toll fees, and parking charges incurred during the rental period.
46. The Renter understands that if the vehicle needs to be left for later pickup, a video recording of the vehicle's condition should be taken and shared from that location via WhatsApp or email. Failure to provide this video may result in the renter being responsible for any damage charges identified upon collection by our GrandRich Rent A Car L.L.C representatives.
